Alright, I realize the whole FLGR versus GI Plut debate rages on and has been for years. While I don't want this thread to become an argument about which is better but I have a somewhat related question.
Does changing from one to another, in any way, affect POI? How about reliability? Thank you, CSP |

Reliability gets back to the same old debate. I've never had a reliability issue with (full size) 1911s with a full length system or a stubby system. Most of my non 1911s have FL guide rods, but they don't impede take down like a FLGR does on a 1911. I've had two pistols which I switched from one to the other.
POI should not be affected, because barrel and slide movement are the same, constrained by the barrel lockup, lugs, and link. |
