Alright,
I'm not that old, but for some reason I REALLY like the looks of a K-frame rear sight on a 1911. Yeah, I know it's not practical anymore and were somewhat fragile. But there's just something sexy about 'em. Anyone else? http://www.louderthanwords.us/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7887 |

Hmmm What a coincidence! I recently came across this article after Googling Armand Swenson:
Swenson 1911 I came away from it with the same thought...... I want those sights on my Commander! I really like the sight picture on my Glocks and always desired that styled sight (outlined rear) on my 1911's. Can you buy those sights by themselves somehow? Were they that fragile? Let's talk more about this!
