Looking for a holster to carry my TRP off duty until my little 1911 comes in.  Not looking for anything expensive or custom, just looking for something that will keep my gun secure.
Anyone try this one from Blackhawk

Galco Skyops is what I'm using now. That is, until April.  Milt Sparks should have a black horsehide trimmed with sharkskin VM2 with matching sharkskin belt shipped to me by then.  SkyOps has an ambidextrous belt clip they make for either 1 1\4 or 1 1\2 belts.. I usually order direct from Galco. If that is what you decide be sure and order the EZ draw treatment...Quick Draw McGraw.

UGTBFKM, you will spend 1500 on a 1911 then will not spend over 20 bucks on a holster.  With that POS  holster the 1911 will never be on your hip.

Spend the Cash, get a  Milt Sparks VMII  or Crossbreed supertuck, either will work well.

Get the Comp-Tac MTAC (which I find more comfiortble than the Supertuck, lthough both are great holsters) If you get the 'slide' version you should be able to carry both your full size and the new, smaller pistol in the same holster.
