This will be my first 1911, and I am not sure what to pay.

What should I pay for a Loaded full size parkerized?

Model Number PX9109LP

Thanks.

Around here, Phoenix, MSRP is $799.  The biggest local retailer doesn't have any right now.

I looked at the load models was dead set on getting one and then shot one along with a TRP.... Needless to say I am not a proud owner of the TRP.  The fit the quality difference between the two make the TRP worth every penny.

Worth every penny.  Where you point is where the bullet will land.  I only had a chance to fire the gun out to 15 feet as my dad and brother wanted to shoot it too.  I had a nice 4 shot group and the 3 ended up in random spots  Nicely built gun and springfield will get my hard earned money again when I get some  [m1a here we goooo]!

I bought mine for $759 + tax last fall.

I was informed about the US finished vs. Brazilian finished ones but was not willing to scour the internet for weeks for one to pop up and I found one 2hrs away and bough it. I have no regrets at all and would buy another.

I currently have my sights set on a TRP though ;-)

NM prefix- US Machined (brought into country as forgings, finish machined here)
N prefix- Brazilian made and imported complete (all machining completed in Brazil)

Has nothing to do with the actual finish of the pistol.

I picked one up about 2 months ago for $742.  Get one, you won't regret it.  The only thing I didn't like about it was the two piece FLGR so I replaced it with a GI guide rod and plug.
