here
also, what do you guys think of the colt defender, thinking about getting one |
|
The three short mags appear to be officer size mags. I do not know why the bases appear to be bead blasted nor why they appear to have orange followers.
The long one appears to be a 10-round mag. Nothing wrong with the defended that some decent double diamond wood grips can't fix. |
|
Quoted: are they double action, someone said that they were single They are only available as a single action. The taller mag looks like it is a Pachmyr, hence the Pachmyr brand on the side, and the other three look like factory Colt SS mags, although at least two are with different followers than I've seen from the factory. FWIW, I have the Colt New Agent (bought NIB in May '08, same size pistol, with a different sight, & blued) and I am pleased with it. I am currently using Wilson 47OXCB ( 7 round officer's size) and 47DOXB (8 rd Gov't size with an extended base pad for use on officer's size pistols) magazines. http://www.wilsoncombat.com/a_magazines_compact.asp |
| I hadone until Gander Mountain fucked it up. Always reliable. Never once missed a shot. The Colt mags that I had also had te orange followers. They are coated with polymer. I got a Springfield Micro after the Colt. Just never felt the same. I'll get another Defender one day. I did put a set of slim grips on mine. Made it much easier to conceal. If the price is good, you won't go wrong picking it up. |
