I saw a full length rail on a Springfield 1911, and I was curious what model it comes on.

There were at least a couple of production Springfields that could be had with the full length rail.  Mil-Spec, and TRP for sure, and maybe a Loaded model.  Now, however, the full length rail is only available from Custom Shop option as a new pistol.  They are available quite regularly on gunbroker and other on-line auctions as used pistols and command a pretty good premium.

So if I were to request a f.l. rail on a TRP from the factory, they can still do that? I looked at the custom options on the springfield custom shop form and did not find the option.

Yep, I believe so.  I'm not sure it would be called a "TRP" but you can order a Custom Shop complete pistol with the full rail.  I think you'd better be prepared for a price around $2.5 K and a year or so wait. There's a current thread running on a 1911 forum website  started by a guy who just received his full-length rail 1911 in 9 mm.  Suggest a call to the SA Custom Shop to get the full story.

They still make limited runs of the TRP full rail operator.

They made Mil-spec, Loaded, and TRP full rail operators. If you look, you can find one used in good condition for a fair price. Going to pick this one up tomorrow

I think you have to look at the Custom Shop Flyer PDF. That list you looked at is just for modifying existing guns you send in for work.

I saw a custom shop full rail gun here:
