For anyone on the fence about placing an order, I'm  throwing  up a quick post about a recent dealing I had with Tripp Research.

I recently placed an order with Tripp and through my own oversight was forced to cancel it.  Without going into great detail, the cancellation process didn't proceed as I expected it, causing me to get a little hot under the collar.  I spoke with Shari Tripp via email about my issue and she absolutely took care of me.  I think in this economy, everyone is trying to save a buck, but I have no qualms  spending  a premium and/or going out of my way to give my business to a company that takes care of its' customers.  It's nice to know that not only does Tripp place great value on making a top tier product, but considers customer satisfaction a priority, something that is in seriously short supply these days.  So,  as long as I own a 1911 it's going to be fed with  Cobra mags from Tripp.

For anyone wondering, I'm not at  affiliated with Tripp, but after being treated with such respect and regard, I feel that it's only fair that Tripp gets an "atta boy" from one of its' customers.  Use them with confidence.

Nice, I've been wanting some Cobra mags. Gotta love great customer service. I recently bought some non firearms stuff online, and the next day the company called and said they were out of stock of one of the items and asked if an upgrade to the next model at no charge would be acceptable. So being the patient humble person that I am, politely said "Heck Yeah!" Such a refreshing thing, too rare these days. Tripp research, I guess I'll be spending the extra dough.

Thanks for posting this. All to often only the negative dealings are posted.

I own 9 of the cobra mags and they are everything advertised and more. I can not see myself ever buying any other type of 1911 mag. The Tripp cobras are simple the best 1911 mag.

I bout 10 cobra mags in one hell of a deal a few years ago..

After fiddling around with all the new mags from all the big guys, wilson, tripp, mccormick, novak ...I settled on the wilsons and mccormick and have a dozen of each, ..
sold off the others

one group of 4 cobra were 10 rd mags,
I sold them for a fair price (both of us were happy), until he got them and saw one of the mags had a cracked feed lip,
I never noticed and had not used them enough to have any problems obviously..
so
I bought them used, from someone who bought them used,
I sold them used to the now 4th owner..
after we discussed the issue, HE contacted tripp, he sent the mags back for repair of the one and a go over of the other three..

he got back 4 brand new in package tripp mags...his cost extra was $3 for shipping,,I offered to reimburse the shipping, he refused and was very happy with his experience...
