BTW: Put a LWD compensator on my G21SF (I know its low rent .45...) and the thing sings....

Cycles perfectly and recoil like an easy 9mm...

I never would have thought it could be so easy.

I'm not going to fire it right now, I was just wondering how to put the damn thing on before I sell it tomorrow so I can tell the buyer how to properly put it on and not kill himself.

That's just great, everyone's cracking jokes when I'm trying to ask a real question that I really don't know the answer to.

Will someone explain how its supposed to fit and if its possible to fix whatever the problem is?

Honestly it looks fine to me.

I looked at your post on the EE, the compensator is not something you should really worry about.  It doesn't add any real value to the package.

you need, .002 to .004 clearance between the slide and comp.

this what finished set should look like.

from the pic i cant tell if something is bent, or if the comp needs to be filed.
