| Why cant I find the instructions for sending a pistol in for custom work. I thought it used to be posted on their website, now I cant find it...can someone help me out?? |

SGB, wasnt there some pdf files that tell you the protocol for sending them your pistol??? I swear there was.... Ive been to the page you copied, but I would rather not call them to get the information I want.
ETA: I checked the XD service packages/options PDF file on their website and it has an extra page at the end on the proper way to ship it. There used to be one on the 1911 section as well. Perhaps they are booked up for a while and are temporarily postponing their services???? Or, maybe it is just a stupid computer error. |

Ive gotten to this page before, but I noticed when I click the 1911-a1 custom worksheet link, it does not have the page at the end with the ordering instructions as does the back of the xd(m) custom worksheet pdf file. Oh well. |

Call and talk to Deb or Dave to discuss what you want done. They will have you print out that 1911 worksheet, and check off what you want done. Include that and a sheet with contact info. Then Deb or Dave will pass you off to a CS rep (I like Amanda, she is a pleasure to work with and super helpful) to get a RMA and take care of all shipping details.
I just shipped my GI last week to get quite a bit of work done. They told me to expect it in 4-6 weeks. I had it back to me in 8 days! BTW Deb and the rest of the Custom Shop are at a single stack shoot, and will not be back in the office till monday. They can answer emails though... |

Not sure what you're seeing, but I see the same instructions on either page, 1911 or XD.
