Well my Springfield GI MilSpec came home from the Custom Shop today. She got sent out last Tuesday, so the turnaround time was 8 days! 8 Days! 
She was there getting the "defense package": Deburred internals, recut throat, polished ramps, tuned trigger, tuned extractor, and some other stuff I am forgetting. While she was there, I had them lower and flare the ejection port. So anyway, she is home now and I wanted to take a picture of her with my new TRP. I thought I would share: 
I added the Pachmeyer grips when she got home today. I think she looks good, and feels great. I took the TRP to the range yesterday, hopefully I'll get a chance to take the modified GI back to test her mods out soon... |
