I have a 1911 from Cylinder and Slide and was wondering if anybody is using Bill's SFS system on their 1911...interesting from the stand point that the pistol is cocked and locked with the hammer down...

An answer in search of a question. Why over complicate a safe, effective and proven design?

Good point "BB"..C&S's pitch is that the pistol looks safer since the hammer is down...I can see in certain deep carry instances where it would be beneficial to drawing the weapon..

I am considering one of these for my Browning HP. I dont care if it looks safe, I just want a additional passive safety since the HP's dont have the grip safety like the 1911's do.
