Ok, so the other day effing around I broke the shit out of my ambi saftey (no problem as I wanted a single side anyway) on my XSE.  I figure what the hell while I am changing that out I should go ahead and get rid of the annoying duckbill grip safety.  My question is, which damn one?  I'm leaning toward either Ed Brown or Smith and Alexander.  Any suggestions?  I would like it to be a matte finish so it would match the pistol (stainless steel) but this is not a necessity.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When I've fit grip safeties (all ed brown) I always had to blend some of the grip safety and frame to match up smooth.  So I'd  say surface finish does not matter as your going to have to refinish anyway.

If a refinish is in order, I'm having it hard chromed.  I just didn't want the Ed Brown safety (silver finish) to look like shit on a polished, and matte finished stainless steel Colt.
