[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about 6 inch STI

I have an 6in STI Trojan coming in and it has a FLGR. I want to change it over to the standardguide rod. Is there a longer rod then the Government for the 6in or will the Government one work.

I'm not aware of one.

I'd contact EGW and look into a custom one being created.

If you want to use a standard, GI length rod, I don't see why it wouldn't work. You can even use the same spring plug if you don't mind the empty hole in the front. I have 3 guns set up like that. It doesn't bother me, I'm rarely looking at that end.
