It is not just SA, around these parts a lot of the popular pistols/rifles/ammo is out of stock

My normal dealers can't get Springers or Kimbers. Started carrying PT1911s and even got desperate enough for a couple Colts. One outdoors store here has a bunch of SAs. It's more of a hunting joint than shooting, which may account for why they haven't sold out, or their prices could just be stupid.

I just got one from McBrides in Austin over the weekend. Give them a call I know they had at least one stainless left. My buddy and I bought the last parkerized ones they had.

fyi: for those in DFW, I saw at least one new mil spec at the Cabelas in Ft Worth on Friday. parkerized($619.00). there may have been a stainless as well.
