Hello gang,

Im looking for a quality 1911 gunsmith who is currently taking small jobs in a timely manner.

This is what I want:

Project 1. Colt Mark IV Series 70 circa 1978 in 100% shape with a 100 round count.  
•Install Kart barrel.  I already have the barrel (Midway part no. 821016- Kart National Match Barrel 1911 Goverment 45ACP 1/16 Twist 5" In The White).  Smith supply the link and pin.
•Supply and install EGW Carry Bevel Bushing.
•Polish feed ramp, throat barrel and polish breech face.  Note: I intend to shoot JHP rounds mostly with this pistol.


Project 2.
•Supply VZ Grips Aluminum Mainspring Housing- Officer/Compact Size- Flat- Plain.
•Serrate in the same vertical 20LPI pattern used by Colt.  
•Anodize Flat Black.

I can supply any parts of the above if needed.

Modifications:
•Ed Brown Tactical ambi thumb safety- Im a south paw.
•Ed Brown HC Slide Stop- just to match thumb safety's matte color.
•Greider Videky Med Trigger- it was almost a necesity.
•Raasco Grips.  Waiting for a set of Ajax Ivory w/ Colt Medallions.

Note: all springs are the 1978 original Colt.

Project 2:  Can't parkerize aluminum.  

Project 1:  Have you tried just dropping in that Kart barrel?
