i need to know what model this one is. i'll describe it the best i can.
it's not a full size 1911, i think it's around 4'' long, so it's not a 3 or 3.5'' compact either. it's got a silver frame with a black slide. i'm pretty sure it's a popular colt so if anybody knows which one i'm talking about please tell me what model it is. i know i've seen pics of it on arf but can't find em now. can't find it on colts webpage or at impactguns.com so i don't think it's in production anymore but i would think it's not any older than mid 90's to recently. |

it's similar i think to the colt combat commander. it's longer than 3.5'' but shorter then 5'' it's got a stainless frame and a black slide. i guess maybe there are more colts like this one than i thought. i thought this would be a gun that any colt or 1911 fan would know right away even with my vague description. and i need to know what model it is so i can find the pics.
i've image googled colt, compact colt, 4 inch colt and the closest thing to it i've seen is the combat commander. that might even actually be it but i don't know. |
