Does anyone know which magwell setup works best with a LW Springfield Operator?? I want to add one and I was looking at the Ed Brown one. Any help would be great.

| There are no magwells on the market in competition with the S&A that are better. The Chen and Heinie magwells require frame cutting and welding, not something a lot of folks want or desire. The competing magwells are multi-piece, another undesirable feature to many, myself included. |

The whole point is that the pistol isn't longer or wider, but still has a gaping hole on the bottom. |

Otherwise, I'd rather opt for no magwell. If I had to have one on a carry gun, it would be either the Heinie or Chen |

Info on the Stan Chen well. IMO the definitive magwell |

| Take a look at the Kimber. The opening is much larger than a Smith & Alexander and the magwell is removeable if desired. Less blending required than with an S&A. Although the Tech-well is a novelty in USPSA shooting, in the real world I would be concerned with it's "hard-knock" capability. Being attached by tabs inserted into slots in aluminum grips isn't the most reliable design. |
