HI guys,

I thought I would post some pics of the new rear sight for my Combat Master. I wanted to put something on my gun with a little more pizzaz than the stock sight. While my frame front strap and MSH are getting treatment I thought I would try my hand at a rear sight. I made these two out of A2 this afternoon... not finished yet, I need to mill the dovetail, dehorn them and drill and tap the mounting hole... I'll update as I get further along... This might take some trickery to git er done.. Sorry about the crap pics I couldn't get my camera to cooperate..

So far...

Wow. If I ever get a CombatMaster, I know who to call.

I personally always thought an Ashley Express sight (XS now) would be The Answer for the Detonics. The forward-mounted "rear" sight and short sight radius doesn't lend itself well to really rapid sight alignment for me.

Thanks, hopefully the second operation will go as smoothly as the first, A2 tool steel is easy to work with and with a little heat treating, will be very durable. I left the center sight cut a little high on this rear sight so that in conjunction with the new front sight the pistol will shoot high. That way all I have to do is mill the rear sight cut deeper,To get the pistol to shoot to point of aim, for me, in theory...
