Just got the TLR-2 for my Operator this christmas. I cant wait to try it out at the range. And wow that light is blinding!

Great looking pistol! How do you like the grips? My 1911 features a smooth front strap and I've been looking at ways to get some grip up there, but don't have the cash for checkering at the moment. Do you feel they offer as much grip as checkering?

I love the pachmayr grips. I honestly cannot think of anything negative about them. They are extremely grippy, durable, and cheap. What else can you ask for in a pistol grip? I would highly recommend them. I've seen them go for as cheap as $26.

I like the Operator but wish they made it in Black/Grey instead of Green. Oh wellz
