| Ok, Ive been looking for a new 1911 for a while now but I have no idea on which one to choose. Ive narrowed it down to the Springfield TRP, an Ed Brown SF, or something from Wilson Combat. I dont know if the if the last two are worth their price or will the TRP do the same for about $400-600 less.[>:/] |

If you can afford a SF or Wilson get one of those if not, you will be more than happy with a TRP. |
| Spend less than a thousand a get a decent gun in SIG GSR, Springfield Loaded, S&W 1911. FWIW I own a SIG and Springer, the SIG is a better gun. I've only handled and shot a few rounds through a Smith but it seems to be a good one as well. Colts are of course the originals and can be had for less than a thousand as well. |
