I looking for a magazine to fit a Remington Rand Inc 1911 A1....what kind of mag do I need and where can i find it?

Any 1911 mag will fit. I'm partial to Colt factory mags ($20 from places like CDNN, etc).

Any local gun shop will have a 7 or 8 round Govt. mag. I like Chip McCormick mags, for around $12 or so each. Avoid the no-name mags, they're not worth throwing away, IMO.
