Does anyone have any info, on Schwartz Swartz safeties that have failed causing the weapon to not fire? I'm more interested in those that failed mechanically on their own, and not from operator induced issues, but any info would be appreciated.

May the swartz be with 1911s I wouldn't buy for this and other reasons. Try a search. I remember some issues with a Smith here not too long ago.

I've seen a discussion on the 1911forums about this and several people talked about their failures, and the fixes. They removed the safety.
