Hello, Hope you are well. The above pistol was purchased in ~1987. I use Wilson magazines and usually they work perfect. However, today I oiled gun (magazine well, barrel etc). After oiling, my magazines (Colt & Pachmeyer) would not insert without pressing the magazine release. The Wilson would insert; however, it appears to be hitting on magazine release. This seems strange. The magazine will drop clear when released. It seems like the magazine is hitting the inside of the magazine release. Thank you, Lobo

The mags are supposed to hit the mag release on the way in. I would clean the oil out of the mag well, don't need it there. Maybe it just feels different because of the oil.
