Latest 1911...kimber custom 2. Took about 900 rounds to break in but after a ramp polish, action job, trigger work, ed brown MSH...she feeds everythinghashttp://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm245/minuteofanglex15/kimbercustom2.jpg http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm245/minuteofanglex15/edbrownmsh.jpg |
They fit easily, though I've been doing it for 25 years. Lottttttttttttssss of info here.... www.blindhogg.com/gunsmithing.html |
When you "...action job..." what all did that entail? |
| Basically the trigger work (4 lbs), getting a nice slick slide to frame fit, replacing all springs with wolff. Ill be replacing the rest of the pistol with ed brown parts and changing out the full length guide rod for a cap...gonna leave the firing pin system in as long as it wont mess with the ed brown components. |
