My first 1911 Springfield Mil-spec  I want to replace the hammer with an old wide spur hammer and the grip safety with a short tang, or modify this one. All in all this is a great gun for the money as far as I can tell, the finish is not all that durable though. One more reason to break out the compressor and re-park or reblue it. |
