Just saw a 1911-a1 Remington rand marked slide and frame for $425. The frame is nickel/chrome and marked Remington Rand US property and then after that U.S. ARMY. The slide is parked and stamped Remington Rand but has after market rear site. It seems like a  pieced together gun but it may still be a good deal. What would you give for this one in 80% condition?

I am cross posting for maximum reply, I don't want to miss a good deal

I've seen them in original condition go for $800-$1000 (within the last 6 months)in good condition. Yours is nickled, it may cost $800-$1000 more to get it back to original.
