Well I decided I was tired of the stock all black look of the Taurus PT1911 so I have started to spruce it up a little. I can't stand the roll mark with the light brown coloring. I was thinking of refinishing the whole gun but then I ran across a set of Simonich Gunner Grips in Coyote Brown and figured I would try that before I leaped into Duracoating the gun. I think it turned out pretty good. I did have to do some dremil-ing to the right side grip because of the ambi safety but it was pretty easy going. I have an STI squared hammer I am going to install this weekend. I will update with pics when I am done. And a pic inside the M-TAC.
