At the local Gun shop their is a Pre Series 70 Colt Commander, its on consignment for 1,100 Seems like a bit much, but its in great shape and seems all original.
What say you guys.

Too much.
Maybe $6 or TOPS if boxed, $700.00-$750.00 but it would have to be primo A1 shape for that amount.
$1100.00 is nuts. Stupid money. Either way, inspect it well, if you see any "work" done on the feed ramp/mag well area, RUN, run away fast.

seems like a bit much to me too. you can get a NIB commander for under $800. it might be worth it, but without pics and a more detailed description, i cant help you much.

Paid $599 for mine. A little rough, but cleaned up real well.
A NIB, never fired, Combat Commander (nickle plated) with box and paperwork was sold fairly recently on Gunbroker for $900 if I recall correctly.
