Hi guys,

I am curious about the trigger over travel set screw. What is the best way to set it after it has been adjusted. Locktite? Nothing at all? Something else?

Thanks in advance.

blue toctite.

Even better, I'd like to try the triggers with extra material for permanent o/t fit.

The best way to work the over-travel stop is to stake it so it will not turn and then file it to fit the needed amount travel. If done properly it will never come loose.

Dood! That takes, like, tools n' stuff!

How about red loctite?

So drilling and tapping the trigger for a set screw for the overtravel screw is not an option?

Set it, and "Red" lock tite it, and forget it.

I set mine, back it out a bit, and then blue lock it. A couple thousand rounds later in snow, rain, and cold and it's still set right where I left it.

A set screw to lock the set screw? And another set screw to lock the one that is locking the first?
This is the 21st century, we have wonderful anaerobic adhesives at our disposal.
One should not casually remove and toss the overtravel screw. With some trigger, frame, grip safety tolerance stacks, this can lead to a fullotta experience.

Stake it.  I'ts quite interesting when it works loose and takes a walk into the sear spring, and all of a sudden you're fully automatic.

I remember the isntructor saying " I expect to see seven rounds in a good group"

 Yeah right
