I am looking for a double mag pouch for my belt. Looking for leather and I think I would prefer one that has snaps so I can remove it without having to take my entire belt off. What brand are you guys using that has snaps? |
| Lots of good choices out there. Just depends on your particular tastes. Galco and Safariland are "big box" choices. Rafter, Kirkpatrick, Andrews and Milt Sparks make quality puches to your exact spec. Might be a little more expensive, but money well spent in my opinion. |

Have you given a clip-on any thoughts? I have a single mag holder clip-on made by www.donhume.com. It has been very reliable for me and easy to get on and off. If you order from them look for it to be a few weeks on delivery unless it is in stock when you call. I also have a concealment holster that has a low cut front that makes for a quicker draw. I really enjoyed their leather. |

For quite a while I have gone with Clint Smith's advise of using a single magazine pouch, and if needed just adding another single. With that said, the best double pouch is the one I got from Kramer Leather. Over 12 years old, some hard miles on it, and it still looks like new, and you could probably hammer a nail with it. YMMV.
