I think I've FINALLY settled on what my second one will be, unless I freak out and change my mind (wouldn't be the first time). It has come down to a Les Baer custom carry and an Ed Brown special forces, and I think I'm going with the EB. Although the LB seems to be the better deal in terms of price. Custom Carry - $1,774 delivered. Special Forces - $1,995 + $40 shipping + $40 xtra mag, total $2,075. I like the SF better in terms of style & finish, but do I like it $300 better?? |
You're joking, right? Take $300. Divide it by 3, making it $100. That's how much you paid extra for 3 years of enjoyment as you got what suited you... or $50 for 6 years. Go with the reverse and you'll be kicking your ass for not getting what you loved. The whole point about the semi custom is getting it done right, so do that. I got the Wilson over the Baer for the same reason, and have zero regrets 2.1 years later. |
