| I want a 1911 beater that will last. Who makes Rock Island 1911s? How do they stack up to a Springfield 1911a1 GI model? As always any feedback will be appreciated. |
| Armscor makes them. ( from the Phillipines maybe ?) They are what I would classify as a "beater" . Some will say not, but that has been my experience. On the other hand, what do you expect for $380.00 to $400.00 ? For the price, they are an ok gun, but I would reccomend spending another hundred or so and step up to a Springfield. Just my opinion. |
