I've been strongly considering buying 1 of 2 pistols. First being a EB/SF's, the other a LB/TRS, but I've recently been turned on to another brand at a lesser hit to my wallet. That being an STI. I can get a STI/Lawman from Dawson or Brazos with their $150 tune up package, and still stay about $400 or more under the 2 formentioned. Has anyone dealt with either of these companies, and would you advise me to pursue or discount this route. Please by all means be frank. |
| STI makes a quality product. The Legacy or Sentinel Premier models will be comparable to the EB or LB guns. If you are lucky you may be able to find a legacy with the Ion bond finish. They have discontinued it in an effort to lower the price on them, but they are still available for now. You really don't need the tune up package on them, they will be good to go right out of the box. In the event that you need it, they do have excellent customer service as well. |
