[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Taurus 1911 trigger problem

Guy I work with has a Taurus 1911. He's had it about a year and has shot it pretty regular. He showed it to me the other day complaining about how the trigger felt different. I tried it out and the trigger pull would change from being decent to sometimes hard to occasionally REALLY hard. What would cause this?

could just be crud built up in the trigger groove.Might have to pull it apart,look for any shiney spots that could be rubbing.Check the disconnector for damage.

Can you strip it and post pics of the fire control group?

If not I'll be back in Jax March 13th ifin the good Lords willin.

I'll see if I cant get it apart and post pics. I was curious. Funny, SGB and I were talking about Taurus 1911's the very same day this happened.
