If your slide is already cut for Novak sights, it will fit, but will be the wrong sight heights (read will shoot way low). If your slide has a standard GI type rear (just a dove tail slot with the section reward of the dove tail the same height as forward of the dove tail) and the front of the slide is not dove tailed for the front sight but a standard GI type (just a slot downward through the slide that the front sight bottom tap was peenned from inside the slide), then you will need to have the slide milled to allow the Novak sights to fit. As for the correct sight heights, You need a .160 front, and a .375 rear heights for a point of dot hold/sight picture. Brownells does carries a Novak .160 front sight, but you will need to order the rear sight from Novak directly since Brownells don't carry that height). |
