Here are the measurements taken from a Taurus PT 1911 AR. I see it's quite a bit taller (.775" as opposed to .600" for B and .280" and .125" for F) than the Springfield. I've got a Caspian rail gun but don't have it handy to measure. A= .655" B= .775" C= Pointed, not machined to a flat D= .125" E= .835" F= .280" G= .125" H= .045" I= .394" |

Here they are on my old STI Socom frame. This is different than the STI Tactical railed frame currently being offered. A= .560" B= .695" C= .060" D= Frame machined to a point here E= .935" from outside of dustcover to outside of dustcover. E= .825" from outside edge of rail to outside edge of rail. F= .085" G= .120" H= .130" I= .455" |
| Melvin_Johnson, thanks for the posts. I was curious about the PT 1911 AR, and its interesting to note the differences. If you were to get a chance to measure that Caspian, Id sure be interested to see how it differs. Im glad that this post can serve as a reference for anyone else that may look for this info, since when I looked I found nothing. Thanks guys for the help. |
