My Brother is working on a SolidWorks model of the full rail SA TRP Operator.
It appears as though the dimensions vary a little from Picatinny spec to keep the dustcover from becoming too thin.
Included is a drawing of the end profile of the rail/dustcover. If you can provide any of the measurements (A-I) (preferably measured with a caliper) we would appreciate it.
Prefer measurements from Springfield frames, but would be interested in other makers dimensions as well. If your frame is not SA, please post the maker along with the measurements.
Thanks

These are off my Cusrom Shop Operator:

A= .655"
B= .600"
C= .020"
D= .050"
E= .833"
F= .125"
G= .115"
H= .085"
I= .350"

Note that some of these are subjective, depending on the degree of roundness caused by buffing/blasting/finishing.

Here are the measurements taken from a Taurus PT 1911 AR.

I see it's quite a bit taller (.775" as opposed to .600" for B and .280" and .125" for F) than the Springfield.

I've got a Caspian rail gun but don't have it handy to measure.

A= .655"
B= .775"
C= Pointed, not machined to a flat
D= .125"
E= .835"
F= .280"
G= .125"
H= .045"
I= .394"

Melvin_Johnson,  thanks for the posts. I was curious about the PT 1911 AR, and its interesting to note the differences. If you were to get a chance to measure that Caspian, Id sure be interested to see how it differs. Im glad that this post can serve as a reference for anyone else that may look for this info, since when I looked I found nothing. Thanks guys for the help.
