They also had a railed blue one.  Now I wish I had gotten it also.  I don't want to pay another $6 to get back in the gun show tomorrow.  Used to be, the hand stamp was good for both days.

Nice gun.
Minus points for not being cocked and locked.
Gun snobs aside, I think these guns are a great value.
Here is mine.

Nice! The stainless model looks great, I picked one up last Friday. The new hard case is way better than the old ones isnt it?

The case does seem nicer, that is why I took the picture with both.  To show the difference.  Only thing is, the new case doesn't fit on the bottom shelf of my safe like the old one did.  But I just need another safe is all, anyway.

I like the new case much better. The old one is jam packed with all the stuff that comes with it. The new one looks larger and has slots for the goodies.

Those fat front slide serrations, I do not like. No I don't. Don't like em one bit. That and the HUGE text on the slide. Other than that, I might justa want one of those.

I never thought I'd say this about a Taurus, but that's just pretty.

If it weren't for the Taurus, I never would have owned a 1911 and I never would have known how extremely addictive they are!  Although I do agree that the humongous logo on the side is hideous.  I've been considering having it refinished to blacken the lettering.

My Taurus had literally the BEST trigger in the gun case, which included a Springfield Operator among other high-dollar 1911s.

I've been bitten even worse than BRD with these pistols.  I just traded off my Glock 21SF without ever even firing it, and if I'm not careful, I may find 1911s replacing more Glocks in the future.

I was at a gun show near Seattle all weekend selling gun belts that I make and saw the SS at one of the dealers tables.  Very nice looking pistol, they wanted $629 if I remember correctly.  I have the B model and love it, great gun for the money.
