For all who got their Dillon Blue press the other day, do you see anything "wrong" with the weapon that the lovely lady has holstered?
I noticed it today while I was on the phone with them and his reply was, "damn, you`re right." See if you can find the 3 items I pointed out to him.

The article says she has been shooting competively for quite a while. Seems like something she should be aware of.

OK, now I see the problem...this 1911 is charged with a magazine and the hammer is cocked, but she hasn't activated the pistol's manual safety.  Her weapon appears to be in condition-0 (cocked, chambered round and safety off), the 1911 should not be holstered in this state.

I'll gladly step forward and volunteer my services as an instructor to teach this young lady proper handling and safety techniques for the M1911-type pistol.  It will be a tough job though, and will likely take at least two to three weeks of arduous training in order to fully "indoctrinate" her.

We call those "holsters" in IPSC but it's hardly the case!

Here are some pictures that were taken at the 2007 NM Sectional match.  The young lady in question can be seen receiving a plaque for her shooting performance.  Like it or not, she can probably outshoot most of us here on the 'net!

Personally, *I* always found that a women who can shoot was a turn-on for me..............

I have seen the girl in question shoot. She can definately shoot and has no shortage of people who will instruct her.
I think she is also the first model to actually pose with her own gun.
