thanks brother, I built this pistol and had it up and running with a non-ramped barrel. This is an Essex ehanced commander slide with Novak sights.
The frame is a stainless steel caspian commander frame.
Some of the small parts I used are as follows.
Chip Mc hammer and safety
Wilson combat trigger
wolf springs
Ed Brown bushing, pin kit, recoil spring guide and plug
Springfield armory slide release

After running several hundred rounds through it with the non-ramped barrel I decided t o go with a ramped unit. the current barrel is a Briley clark/para ramped unit. This barrel was fitted by a 1911 smith.

I have fired several hundred rounds with it and have yet to experience a failure to feed.
the pistol does shoot a little low for me and I am going to file the front sight down with my next trip to the range.

Oh, yes I forgot, the pistol is in 9mm Parabellum>
