My quest for a closed end reverse plug had come up empty. All the ones I could find were for Colts. I called EVERYONE.

Then I had an idea... Why not call Springfield? I talked with the most helpful guy on the phone. He took the time to look up and find a part in the warehouse they no longer make, and put it in a box to mail to me for FREE.

I said it once and I'll say it again..... I have bought SA 1911s and will continue to do so just on customer service reputation alone.

That was the deciding factor when i purchased my Springfield.  I havnt had to and hope i wont ever have to send anything back to them but i feel comfortable that if i have to they will take care of me better then most other companys

I called them 4 times about a LH holster for my 4 pistols and they send it for free plus the CS rep was very nice. I'm going to buy a revolver, too bad they don't make one.
