I was looking on the website to my local sportsmen's club and found a link to a local guy that does some 1911 custom work. I thought I'd share a cool looking commander that I found on his site.

Those cut outs on the slide are unique but not for me...

Burwell Gunsmithing located in Ducansville, Pa.

I'm not sure who the actual smith is or if it's just a one man operation or not. I might have to stop by tomorrow and check things out.

The new no snag hammer model apparently. I like the cut outs myself. I first saw that on Stan Chens site and I am building one from and old frame and slide to use them. Pretty cool in my opinion.
