I have purchased a RIA in 38 super and it came with one magazine. It works fine no problems.
Since I have purchased some mags marked Colt 38 super they are hard to insert once they come in contact with the mag release inside the frame. You must also rack the slide back and lock it back. When you release the slide lock the slide stops at the mag.
The feed lips are to tall and come in contact with the underside of the slide. I think I can roll the feed lips toward the inside of the mag and they will work.
Has any one ever had this problem with any kind of 38 super 1911.
Thanks!

Initial suspicion: you got some bad mags. I've seen lots of knock-offs marked "Colt" in some fashion.

Try something from a reputable manufacturer (Wilson, Mec-Gar, etc) and see how it goes. If those don't work, get it to a gunsmith (or IM me, I've had a kinky plan for an RIA .38 for while...)
