Sorry about the photo I could of used more natural lighting.  Will try to take a better photo next time.  I just recently purchased a Springfield Armory Loaded Combat 1911.  Let me know what you think.

I am curious as to which grips you have on the 1911 that you are using for your avatar SGB.  It looks a lot nicer than the grips on my Springer.

They're made by VZ grips although I don't think John has them up on his website. The 1911 dime is a custom inlay.

Personal suggestion... A blued gun deserves blued mags and a black grip. There are very nice novak mags floating around for $15 right now and they make your gun much more sinister. My wife prefers ebony wood grips I like Buffalo horn. Eagle Grips
