I just picked up a used Caspian 1911 frame from the EE.  I want to replace most of the internals since I'm not really sure what the previous owner used for the build.  I need to put a Wilson beavertail on it since it already has that beavertail cut.  I want an ambi safety on it.  I don't mind doing a little fitting but I would like to keep it to a minimum.  What do you guys recommend?

almost everything will need to be fitted.
As far as quality stick with Ed Brown hardcore, Wilson Bulletproof, EGW, C&S you will be good. Study up on how to fit a thumb safety, if done improperly it could make for a very unsafe gun. See Pistolwrench's sticky at the top. I'd find a super cheap single safety to practice on, better to ruin a $5 POS part than a $50 ambi. I ruined the first safety I fit in fact.

Stay away from Wilson's "value line' or whatever it's called, it's MIM and not the best stuff, if you are looking for the best.

Thanks for the info.  I figured fitting the safety would probably be a little rough.  How about some of the matched sets of the hammer, sear, disconnector, etc. from somebody like Nowlin or C+S?  Are they worth the money?

I actually just got a C&S pre matched set. Good deal if you don't have the tools (I don't). It is actually a pretty good pull, even a tiny bit better than my stock Kimber. I wouldn't hesitate to use one.
