Finally got my "Colt Pro Carry" back from Robar. Here are some pics.
I don't know why but the gun looks a lot better in person. Especially the NP3'd frame. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the money but It came out twice as good as I was hoping. I definitely recommend Robar.

The snow and ice delayed delivery a day. And after waiting most of the next day and it not showing up. I walk down stairs an the package was left on my deck. I thought they had to get a signature for something like this. At least it wasn't stolen.

Looks good but it looks like a Kimber to me.

Congrats.  I'm a big NP3 fan, and a big Robar fan.  I've got a pistol there now getting the Roguard finish.  As soon as it gets back, I'll send another one for NP3.

Sorry to say it, though, but yes, those pimpy grips have got to go.

I thought it might be. It would have been nice for that to be mentioned in the first post.

Cool. Looks good.
Why does the the trigger guard look funky right where it meets the frame? Not sure what it is, but it just looks like somethings not quite right...

New (old) grips. I might go back to the finger groove grips. Ive got real big hands and they seem to really fill them up like they were custom formed for me.

It's called do it yourself gunsmithing (first try) To try and get the highest grip possible. I call it the FUNKY MONKEY.

I thought it was just me that "disliked" the finger groove grips... If you were trying to get a high grip, wouldnt the finger grooves defeat that purpose?

If it were me, I would have tossed the finger grooves and had some checkering done then a refinish. Then a pair of VZ or gunner grips to seal the deal.

Looks like Robar did a great job as usual though.

Nice job :)

U should stand further back to not get the flash reflection and just zoom in.

Thanks for the advise. I've been using the macro setting and getting too close to gun.
