Anybody have any experience with the Wilson Combat comps?  I have seen a few different ones from different manufacturers and wondered if they are worth buying.  Any info would be appreciated

Personaly I think putting a comp on a 45acp is a waste of money. The .45acp is a low velocity round, can't see the comp doing much.

Thats my take on them. Only bought be GI Joebies.

They are idiotic and don't work and yes, when I first started screwing around with 1911s years ago I bought one myself. WTF is what I ask myself everytime I still see it lying in the gun box. I keep it to remind me that there are lots of stupid things out there for guns, and I'm as gullible as the next new guy.

Well the punisher had them on his 1911's with customized triggers.  If its good enough for the punisher, well then, Im not good enough for a compensated 1911.
