I posted in the picture thread, but I also thought, since there seems to be quite a bit of interest in the PT 1911, I'd also make a separate thread. Here are some pics: http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00385.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00387.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00388.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00386.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00389.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00390.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00391.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00392.jpg http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b398/stevedrk/DSC00393.jpg I haven't done anything but change the grips. With the ultra-thin, the not only looks good, but feels good. About 500 rounds through her so far without issue. |
I compared a few different shades of wood grips, but when with the cocobolo as I felt they looked the best. I really enjoy it with these grips. I know yours will look fantastic. |
