The sights, barrel and grips aren't original. There is an 'H' stamp just above the firing pin stop at the rear of the slide. There are no rearsenal marks anywhere. It appears to be a 1911 that someone polished to within an inch of it's life. The question is what's it worth? img150.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0034mo5.jpg img184.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0038rf0.jpg img223.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0040cz8.jpg |
Hard to say as the polishing has ruined the collector value. If it is otherwise good mechanically then it wouldn't be worth much more than $500-600 to me as a shooter. You could restore it which would add some value to someone that is looking for a 1911 to shoot. |
