Hard to say as the polishing has ruined the collector value. If it is otherwise good mechanically then it wouldn't be worth much more than $500-600 to me as a shooter. You could restore it which would add some value to someone that is looking for a 1911 to shoot. |

I'd agree with the $500-600 estimate. I would suggest sending it to the Colt custom shop for a complete refinish, maybe in their Royal Blue finish? The cost is fairly inexpensive for what the gun gains.
