i have a 1911 without a light rail but i was considering getting one like the Picatinny rail mount from D&L sports. are there any others i should consider? i was planning on using a surefire x200.

the new rail from Surefire has had good results. Everyone I know who has one loves it. and it's not permanent

i looked at that one though and i really dont like how it angles the light upward and i wanted something that would look more factory like.

Novak just came out with one Here. TRG makes one too Here. The Novak looks factory and the TRG will come off easy and put your light lower.
